Welcome

The Carlton Baha'i Community welcomes you. We are an active group of followers of the teachings of Baha'u'llah living in the Carlton area of Gedling district on the edge of Nottingham in the East Midlands of England. The district is urban (being the eastern suburbs of Nottingham city) .

There are other Baha'i communities in Nottingham and West Bridgford.

Our main activities are holding devotional meetings and study groups - open to anyone who wants to come along. For our members there are also the regular monthly meetings of the community. Holy Day meetings are arranged in conjunction with Nottingham and West Bridgford, and are open to all. Informal discussions are held around the area, usually in peoples' homes for those who want to meet and talk about the Baha'i Faith with opportunity for questions.
Other activities include support for the local Agenda 21, UNA and Interfaith groups; environment projects (litter picking, tree plantings) and work to increase the awareness of the general public in our aims and teachings.

You are welcome to come to one of our meetings , either an informal discussion or a prayer meeting. If you feel attracted by the teachings, contact the secretary
